Isabella Thoburn College125 Years Celebration was successfully held from 1st November to 4th November in IT College, Lucknow, India. On these four days, an international conference on “Women in higher education: Responding to the challenges of change” and “Innovation in global environment” was organized. It was understood that this conference was sponsored by Scranton Women’s Leadership Center in Seoul and Japan Wesley Center in Tokyo. There were more than 20 presidents and experts and 18 students from 8 countries participate in this celebration. President Zhang and student Yan Jianqing were invited to the celebration. It offered a great opportunity for students overseas gathering together and comparing the difference of education between countries.

Nowadays, women have proved that they can undertake all tasks and become more and more self-dependent. On the occasion, Pratibha Patil, the first woman president highlighted the present situation of the women in the society. She also appealed to the young girls of the institution to stand up against the social evils and help the other women who are victims of societal prejudices.
