Dr. Gregory Guelcher from Morningside College is invited to teach for the spring semester of 2013, as part of ongoing faculty exchange between Hwa Nan and Morningside College. Professor Guelcher has been teaching in the Department of History & Political Science of Morningside College in the United States since 1996. This is Professor Guelcher’s fifth trip to Hwa Nan. He has been here twice previously in the summers of 2009 and 2010, to teach some courses and bring some students from Morningside College to experience Chinese culture and teaching. While teaching at Hwa Nan this time it was also his 50th birthday on March 7th. The School of Foreign Language and International Trade and the Foreign Affairs Office arranged celebration dinner for him. Professor Lin Benchun, former President of Hwa Nan and honored visiting professor of Morningside joined the celebration.
