The graduation ceremony for the Class of 2013 was held on June 19, 2013. Professor Chen Zhongying, Board Chairman, as well as President Zhang Xunjie and school leaders and faculty attended the ceremony with the graduates. Dr. Zhang Xunjie gave a speech to encourage the students to be grateful, responsible, and wise individuals in the future. Mr. Gordon Trimble, Honorary Board Chairman, congratulated the students who finished their learning here within three years. He also shared 10 simple steps with students so that their journey in life will meet with similar success. Those 10 simple steps are: 1) Be in control, 2) Be happy, 3) Be thankful, 4) Help yourself by helping others, 5) Accept responsibility, 6) Take pride in all you do, 7) Believe in yourself, 8) Do not worry, 9) Stress is your friend, and 10) Continue learning. In commemoration of the school motto—“Having Received, I Ought to Give” — all graduating students assisted the school’s construction by making a donation towards a classroom.
