On Oct. 19, 2016, Hwa Nan celebrated her 108th Anniversary on Qishan Campus. A series of activities started from the unveiling ceremony of “Hong En”Classroom donated by Class 2016 at 9:00. President Su, Party Secretary Chen and representatives of Class 2016 attended the ceremony.
At 9:30, Anniversary Forum and Book Releasing Ceremony of “Dr. Yu Baosheng：A Photo Biography” was grandly held in Yu Baosheng Lecture Hall, presided over by Party Secretary Chen. President Su made a speech reporting this year’s college development, recalling hardships Dr. Yu went through when reestablishing Hwa Nan and giving a summary of Dr. Yu’s educational ideology and practice as a precious legacy for Hwa Nan. Council Chair Chen Zhongying made a speech in the title of “Hwa Nan: An Inclusive College”. She recalled life stories of Dr. Yu and expressed her pleasure about the publication of this book.
Hwa Nan first Clothing Festival opened in the afternoon with attractive fashion shows, displaying the college’s culture and achievements.
