Cheng Xiaojiang graduated from the Applied English department of Fujian Hwa Nan Women’s College in 1989. She later achieved MBA from Maastricht University, Netherlands. She is a member of HR100 China and was the President on rotation basis in the years of 2013 and 2014.
Currently she assumes the position of Vice President of Group Human Resources & Administration in a global company Techtronic Industries Co. Ltd (TTI). Before joining TTI, she worked as China HR managers for Novartis and Boston Scientific.
She is a senior HR professional in China with rich working experience in multi cultural business environment of joint ventures. She was awarded in 2002 Best HR Manager in Shanghai by China Staff, a renowned HR magazine in Hong Kong. During her time in Boston Scientific, she was honored by the headquarter the prize of Global HR Rushing to a New High.
Cheng Xiaojiang loves art and enjoys life. She is a licensed consultant of EQ Management from The Leadership Challenge, USA and Geno, Australia. In her spare time, she manages an official account on WeChat running three columns of fun seeking in art, vegetarian food cooking and her reflections on education and humanity. She believes personal growth is more important than success and having fun is as important as personal growth. In 2017, she was invited to give two online public lectures sharing with hundreds of audience the topic of How EQ can make work and life balance. She gives lectures to undergraduate and EMBA students in Guangdong province. Her speech on how to be a bosom friend of children when they prepare for important examinations was widely shared among hundreds of parents.
Cheng Xiaojiang misses the days at Hwa Nan, especially the celebrations of western festivals with foreign teachers whom she still kept close contact with. Hwa Nan spirit of “Having Received, We ought to Give” lingers in her mind. She said the growth and development at Hwa Nan paved the way for her to explore her own path to success and happiness.
