Huang Dongmei graduated from Food and Nutrition Department in 1997. She is now the Board Director of Xiamen Han Xing Information Technology Company. She treasured the years in Hwa Nan and learned from the college motto “Having received, I ought to give”to be an upright and thankful person. Since graduation, she has been working hard and making her contribution to building a harmonious society. She courageously faces cross disciplinary and cross industry challenges and never stops learning and improving herself. By attending different kinds of training programs, she is now a certified constructor, certified safety engineer, and senior professional in human resources. She continued her study in Fuzhou University and Xiamen University and made study tours to Singapore, Japan, and Israel to broaden her vision and to learn from others for the purpose of introspection and inspiration.
A few years ago, she started Xiamen Han Xing Information Technology Company, which developed human resource management software for construction companies introducing a real-name registration system for migrant workers to better protect their rights in cases of salary cuts or pay defaults. It is now a high tech company holding many patents and intellectual rights. It establishes cooperative relationships with more than one hundred large companies, provides services to more than one thousand construction projects, and is a contractor for real name labor service system and construction site intelligentization of China State Construction Engineering Corporation Ltd.
As an entrepreneur and a mother, she manages to be a role model for her children as a life long learner and a hard working person. She would like her children to be the best of themselves. She is especially grateful to her husband for his unconditional support and inclusiveness.
She hopes students of Hwa Nan take up opportunity at school learning to be a better person and a thankful person because she believes learning makes a better self and cultivating a heart of gratitude makes a positive and disciplined self. She encourages students to pay more attention to real life deficiencies and pain which are the sources for resource integration, innovation and business opportunities.
