After graduation, Pan Jun started working in Lakeside Hotel, Fuzhou as Guest Relationship Officer and Front Office Assistant Manager.  In 2001, she immigrated to Vancouver, Canada and started up a joint venture trading company named H&S International Enterprise Co., Ltd.  Through continuous learning and practice, she received the BCIT Certificate in Financial Management program between 2003 and 2005.  In 2014, she passed the exam and attained CFP certification.

Pan Jun is grateful to her alma mater for opening up the first window to the world for her since she learned a lot about North American cultures from the teachings of foreign teachers at Hwa Nan, which laid a good foundation for her to succeed in her study and work in Canada.  The experience of being a radio broadcaster on campus and winning the first prize in English speaking contest gained her full confidence and prepared her for becoming MCs in many big events and guests in the interview or news live programs for Chinese media in Vancouver of FM961HY Net TV, Talentvision TV, Channel M, World Journal, Dawa Business Press.

The teaching of women measuring up to their male counterparts at Hwa Nan is firmly engraved on her mind.  When she first stepped into the financial business in North America, she encountered financial crisis and at the same year she lost her beloved father and husband in a car accident.  She was not beaten by the double strikes but instead she chose to be strong and made up her mind to help more women and their families achieve their financial goals.  She actively answeres the call of the company and becomes the bridge for the women and minorities from diverse cultures, breaking up the traditional white male dominance in the financial world in North America and progressively achieving the goal towards gender balance.

Hwa Nan College Motto of “having received, I ought to give” influenced her life, her worldviews and values.  In her spare time, she volunteers for the charities and makes visits to children in poverty.  She wishes she could help the disadvantaged group and have positive influence on them towards meaningful life.

“Pursuing dreams, rising to the challenge, and never giving up” becomes her motto.  She wishes the students at Hwa Nan treasure their opportunity at school, actively participate club activities to improve themselves, and make contributions and rewards to Hwa Nan and the society in the future.
