On the afternoon of April 14, 2019 World Professional Supermodel Contest （Fujian province）Special Event for University Town was held in the college auditorium.  Deputy Secretary Ren Jianhong, director of Fujian Contest area and around 600 students attended the event.

Before the event, the strategic partner awarding ceremony was held.  Chair of Fujian division Qiu Chunwu presented strategic partner plaques to Hwa Nan, Hwa Nan Youth League Committee, MICE Planning and Management program, and Image Design program.  Yi Haoqing from Image Design received the title of Best Teacher Facilitator.  Deputy Secretary Ren Jianhong and Chair of Fujian Division Qiu Chunwu kick-started the event in the launching ceremony. 

This special event attracted more than 70 contestants from eight universities. Thirty entered the intermediary contest after fierce competition.

World Professional Supermodel Contest (WPSC) was launched by American Chinese City Culture Exchange Promotion Association, WPMC and Bridge West Group.  This year, Fujian for the first time hosted WPSC.  Hwa Nan worked closely with the host and prepared for the special event.  Hwa Nan students actively participated the special event of WPSC, bringing new vigor and vitality into campus life.
