On the afternoon of April 28， Hwa Nan held a working meeting on college epidemic control and school reopening preparation.  Council Chair Su Mengna chaired the meeting.  Party Secreatry Wang Haiyan, Vice President Huang Jie, Deputy Secretary Ren Jianhong, and other directors from President’s Office, Dean’s Office, Personnel Office, Business Office, Security Office and Student Affairs Office attended the meeting.

The meeting conveyed the spirit of the documents from Fujian Education Department in relevant to spring semester reopening of higher education institutions.  Relevant office directors made reports on school opening plans and had detailed discussions on issues of phased returning of students, closed-off management of the school, campus disinfection, supply assurance, graduating student management, teaching arrangement and emergency handling.

The meeting required every office and department fully implement the deployment plan made by the Ministry of Education and Fujian Education Department for spring semester reopening of higher education institutions,  and set up working plans in advance for student phased return.  The meeting also required departments and offices to always put students’ life and health first and meticulously implement the plans of epidemic control, school opening, and emergency handling.  The meeting called for putting in place sound systems and policies for school epidemic control, constantly improving work and contingency plans for spring semester reopening, taking solid measures for COVID-19 prevention and control, and making full preparations for the school opening.
