To celebrate the 71st anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China (PRC), a flag raising ceremony was held on the sports ground on the morning of Oct. 1. President Ren Jianhong, Party Secretary Wang Haiyan, Deputy Secretary Wu Lanjia, secretaries of Party General Branches, secretaries of Youth League General Branches, student counselors and student representatives in total of around two hundred people attended the flag-raising ceremony.
The audience watched national flag guards walked in with uniform strides escorting the bright five-star red flag. In the solemn national anthem ,the bright five-star red flag rose slowly. Audience stood to attention and saluted the flag, showing their genuine love and lofty respect to the country.
This occasion has inspired a strong sense of patriotism among faculty and students and cultivated their senses of collective honor and national pride.
