In response to the call from the Education Department of Fujian Province and Fujian Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security about facilitating 2021 graduate employment while meeting pandemic control requirements, Hwa Nan held an on campus job fair for 2021 graduates on November 18. College leaders fully supported the fair. President Ren Jianhong, Party Secretary Wang Haiyan, Vice President Huang Leijing, Vice President Zhang Qiuping, Deputy Secretary Wu Lanjia attended the job fair, provided guidance and exchanged ideas with graduates and employers. Department Chairs and Party Branch Secretaries were also present at the fair helping with the organization.
This year’ on-campus job fair invited over 160 companies such as Little Golden Start Education Co., Fuzhou Nine-colored Deer Training School, Fujian Netdragon Websoft Inc., Fujian Yuanxiang Airport Express, WISSUN, Fujian Sugar & Wine Non-staple Food Co., Beijing TRT Group Fuzhou Co., Best Inc. Fuzhou Co. Over three thousand positions were offered in the industries of educational training, business trade, catering, nursing, tourism, convention and exhibition, clothing design and information technology.
The fair was well organized and packed with people. More than 1300 graduates applied for jobs in the fair. Many freshmen and sophomores attended the fair observing and learning about the employment process and requirements. The fair was highly affirmed by employers and students. According to the survey conducted, most of the employers were satisfied with the event and gave full recognition to the comprehensive qualities of Hwa Nan graduates. This year’s fair provided an exchange and communication platform for employers and graduates, increased employers’ knowledge about the school and students and promoted high-quality employment.
