President Ren Jianhong is a female Chinese born in October 1968, whose birth place is Fuzhou, Fujian and ancestral native place is Jing Xian, He Bei province.  Ren is a CPC member and an Associate Professor.  She graduated from Childhood Education and Counseling Department of Fujian Hwa Nan Women’s College in 1989, visited Hong Kong Baptist University from September 1999 to May 2000, studied Child Development in Florida State University, USA in 2006 and achieved M.S. degree.  Ren has been working for a long time in the higher education institution, performing and managing administrative work in teaching and research, security and student affairs.  Since 2002, she acted as Assistant to the President in charge of teaching and student affairs.  In March 2007, she was appointed as Vice President of Teaching.  From September 2016 to May 2020, she was Deputy Party Secretary in charge of student affairs.  Since May 18, 2020, she has been appointed as the President of Hwa Nan.  

Ren Jianhong has been awarded Excellent Teacher of Fujian Province, “Three Education” Advanced Individual, Outstanding Party Member of Higher Education Institutions, Excellent Ideological and Political Worker of Higher Education Institutions, Pace-setters in the New Long March of Fuzhou City, and Outstanding Education Worker of the Education System in Fuzhou.
