On April 27, Fujian Civility Department issued the list of 2018-2020 Civilized Cities, Civilized Villages, Civilized Units, Civilized Campus, and Civilized Families.  Hwa Nan maintains the title of the Provincial Civilized Campus of Fujian Province and is the only private vocational college winning this award.

Hwa Nan has always prioritized the cultivation of campus civility  as a strategic task.  Measuring against the evaluation criteria of Provincial Civilized Campus, Hwa Nan makes efforts and breakthroughs with limited resources , achieves education outcome and cultural-ethical progress, and acquires distinct features as a women’s college.

Cultivating civility on campus constitutes a journey to which there is no end.  Hwa Nan will follow the sound guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, take the Awarding of the Second Provincial Civilized Campus as a new starting point, seize the opportunities of vocational education development, stay true to the original aspiration, gather people's will and power, reform and innovate, solidly carry out the work, work hard with stamina and diligence, continuously improve education quality and earnestly make new contributions to the development of Fujian province in the new era.
