On May 26, Campus Etiquette Star Competition was held in the auditorium.  The event was organized by Student Affairs Office and the Department of Tourism Services to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, to promote Chinese etiquette culture, to demonstrate youthful vitality and etiquette splendor, and to promote cultural-ethical progress.  Party Secretary Wang Haiyan, Vice President Huang Leijing, Deputy Secretary Wu Lanjia, Party Branch Secretaries and over five hundred teachers and students watched the competition.

The competition has two parts of live competition and online voting, and two sections of etiquette demonstration and knowledge contest.  With narration, music, and lighting in the background, contestants dressed in appropriate costume performed tea service, dressing-up ritual, girl’s coming of age rite and other traditional festival ceremony etiquette and business etiquette in elegant and standard manner.  They put up a visual feast for the audience.

After fierce competition, Chen Qingxuan from Cabin Crew Training 2019, Huang Liwen from MICE Planning and Management 2020, You Qiwen and Gong Shijie from Image Design 2020, and Gao Ying from Preschool Education 2019 won the titles of Campus Etiquette Star.

Hwa Nan has always emphasized civility education, giving etiquette training during student orientation and hosting annual etiquette competition for fostering featured campus culture.  Etiquette Campus Star Competition enriched campus life and created atmosphere for civility to take root on campus.
