On the afternoon of December 8, mid-level administrator meeting was held in No. 1 meeting room.  President Ren Jianhong, Party Secretary Li Tingwang, Vice President Zhang Qiuping, Vice President Huang Leijing, Deputy Secretary Wu Lanjia and all mid-level administrators attended the meeting presided over by College Office Vice Director Yao Guangping.

Party Secretary delivered the spirit of the Eleventh Fujian Provincial Party Congress and gave detailed explanations on the key content.  Secretary Li stressed party organizations at each level shall develop a good grasp of the essence and rich implications and push forward the implementation and effective results of the Congress spirit.  He said the cadres shall take the lead in studying the Congress spirit, pace up with the new development of Fujian province and push forward the high quality development of Hwa Nan.

President Ren Jianhong gave analysis and explanations on key issues of 2021-2022 academic year in the areas of major construction and fund management.  She pointed out setbacks in the high level major group construction, in the high level cultivation of the majors connecting between the secondary and the higher vocational education, and the higher vocational education and degree program, and in the new major setup application.  She said Hwa Nan will strengthen its faculty development, construct training bases, compose textbooks, and speed up the major construction.  On the fund management, she highlighted each unit shall adequately plan and allocate the fund and improve the efficiency of funds.  She said Hwa Nan will improve the wellbeing of faculty and staff in a scientific and reasonable way and increasing their senses of fulfillment and happiness.

In the end, she called for all units to center around the main tasks of 2021-2022 academic year, focus on the key issues, enforce implementations and ensure all key work be steadily progressed as scheduled and finished on time.
