On December 22, 2021 Teaching Experience Exchange and Research Seminar was held in Yu Baosheng Lecture Hall.  Council Chair Su Mengna, President Ren Jianhong, Party Secretary Li Tingwang, Vice President Zhang Qiuping, Vice President Huang Leijing, Deputy Secretary Wu Lanjia, all faculty and staff attended the meeting chaired by Dean of Academic Affairs Office Pan Shaofang.

Dean Pan first gave a review of the achievements made in teaching and research of Year 2021.  She affirmed the efforts put forward in research and skill competitions.  In 2021, twenty-seven research papers were published.  One teacher received the grant of 2021 Vocational College English Teaching Reform Research Project from Steering Committee on Vocational English Teaching of Education Ministry.  One faculty’s research proposal was accepted as Key Project of Fujian Vocational Education and Teaching Reform by Fujian Vocational and Technical Education Institute.  Two teachers were granted Young and Mid-aged Teachers’ Education Research Project by Fujian Education Department.  Three research projects concluded and got approved.  Three patents of utility model and four software copyrights were achieved.  Under the guidance of teachers, nine third prizes or above were achieved in the provincial vocational skill competitions run by education authorities.  Six third prizes or above achieved in various skill competitions run by industry associations and academies.  In the various competitions, six teachers won one second prize at the national level, one first prize, one second prize and three third prizes at the provincial level.  Eighty-one papers were received for this year’s seminar.  Department of Art and Design won the best organization award.  Council Chair and college leaders presented awards and prizes to the winners.

Following the award presentation, six teachers centering around the subject of teacher, teaching material and teaching method reform on integrating job positions, classroom teaching and skill competition, shared their teaching experience with audience in the areas of skill competition, cultivation, education philosophy, work ethics, and aesthetic training.

The Exchange offered a communication platform for teachers to share experience and to learn from each other.  It helped teachers to explore the depth and width of teaching, update their knowledge, promote teaching reform and enhance teaching quality.
