On the afternoon of February 23, Hwa Nan held a faculty and staff meeting for the new semester in the auditorium.  The meeting was attended by Council Chair Su Mengna, President Ren Jianhong, Party Secretary Li Tingwang, Vice President Zhang Qiuping, Vice President Huang Leijing and Deputy Secretary Wu Lanjia and all faculty and staff.  Deputy Office Director Yao Guangping hosted the meeting.

At the meeting, President Ren took stock of the five drawbacks and problems in the Year of 2021 and made arrangements for the new semester.  She walked all teachers and staff through University Teachers’ Code of Conduct in the New Era.  She stressed teachers’ words and behavior unconsciously influence students.  We shall continuously strengthen the professional ethics and become mentors for students.  She wished all faculty and staff sustain the spirit of the ox, pull together with solidarity, work harder, seize the important opportunity, reinforce education quality, promote the development of Hwa Nan, and to ensure excellent results are achieved by the time the 20th National Congress is convened.
