On the afternoon of March 9, Hwa Nan and Fuzhou Brightness Eye Hospital held an agreement signing and plague awarding ceremony for jointly establishing a training base to share quality resources and to improve professional competency of nursing students.  Fuzhou Brightness Eye Hospital President Huang Yubing, Hwa Nan Vice President Zhang Qiuping, Dean Pan Shaofang, Health Service Department Chair Yu Rongmin and Nursing Program Director Xu Yuting attended the ceremony. 

Vice President Zhang Qiuping on behalf of Hwa Nan signed the agreement with President Huang Yubing.  Attendees from both sides held talks about the school-hospital cooperation.  Vice President Zhang made introduction of Hwa Nan and its Nursing program and elaborated on the development path and cooperation policies.  President Huang Yubing gave detailed introduction about the hospital’s development, its demand for nurses, and future cooperation plans.  Both parties have reached consensus on certain issues after discussions. 

Medical staff from the Brightness Eye Hospital and student volunteers from Hwa Nan Nursing Program provided free eyesight screening, optometry and eye pressure test to students, teachers, staffs and their families.
