On the afternoon of June 14, a delegation of members of CPPCC Fujian Committee led by Vice Chairman Ruan Shiwei made an inspection trip to Hwa Nan.  Hwa Nan Council Chair, President, Party Secretary and other administrators attended the inspection seminar.

President Ren Jianhong on behalf of Hwa Nan extended warm welcome to the delegation and gave a detailed report on the running of Hwa Nan and the building of the programs of Preschool Education, Early Childhood Education, Smart Health and Elderly Care, and Nursing.

Vice Chairman Ruan Shiwei spoke highly of the long history and glorious tradition of Hw Nan and affirmed Hwa Nan’s experience and practice of training professionals that are badly lacking.  He said of exercising CPPCC’s functions and powers of consultation in promoting continuous education through junior colleges and undergraduate schools and improving running conditions of private schools.  He encouraged Hwa Nan to find its position in education, deepen talent training reform, train more talents for the society, and support high quality development with high quality education.  He wished Hwa Nan make further progress after achieving a fair degree of success.

Before the seminar, a ceremony of appointing Vice Chairman Ruan Shiwei as Distinguished Professor of Hwa Nan was held.
