Between August 18 to 20, Elderly Care Skill Competition for Vocational Colleges of 2022 National Competition for Skills of Vocational Education was held in Wei Fang, Shan Dong province.  Forty-nine teams from all over the country competed.  After four blocks’ fierce competition, Student Zheng Qiuling from Class 2020 of Elderly Service and Management program achieved a second prize under the instruction of Teacher Yu Rongqing, Hwa Nan’s best-ever result at the national competitions.

The two-day competition designed two workplace scenarios of elderly home-care in communities  and  elderly care in institutions.  Contestants were required to independently finish every competition block testing their intellectual, physical, caring, communication, creative, adaptability, organizing, and presentation skills and abilities.
