The results of China College Students’ Self Empowerment Stars of the Year 2021 were recently announced.  Wu Siyu, Hwa Nan Food Nutrition and Inspection major student enrolled in 2020, is honored the title.  China College Students’ Self Empowerment Stars of the Year 2021 is jointly held by China Youth Newspaper, New Oriental Education Group, and China Foundation for Youth Entrepreneurship and Employment under the guidance of the Communist Youth League of China and the All-China Students' Federation.

Wu Siyu, born in March, 2002, was Executive Chair of Student Union of Health Services Department, Class Vice-Monitor, and Assistant to the Councilor.  She ranked first in academic performance and actively involved in science and technology research.  She has obtained one invention patent, three utility patents, one design patent and copyright ownership of two computer software.  She won the honors of National Scholarship, Excellent Communist Youth League Member of Fuzhou,  "Triple-A" Outstanding Student of Hwa Nan, and Excellent Communist Youth League Member of Hwa Nan.
