In implementing the decisions and plans of the Party Central Committee and the State Council for facilitating the employment of college graduates and promoting full employment of 2023 graduates, Hwa Nan held a job fair with Haixia Talent Resource Market for Fujian Culture and Arts Industry and 2023 graduates on June 7. Party Secretary Tingwang Li, President Jianhong Ren, Vice President Leijing Huang, Vice President Qiuping Zhang, Deputy Secretary Lanjia Wu attended the job fair, provided guidance and exchanged with graduates and employers. Department Chairs and Party Branch Secretaries were also present at the fair helping with the organization.
This year’s job fair invited over 140 employers including Haixia Talent Resource Market, Beijing China Life Fujian Branch, Fuzhou Juchunyuan Group, Fuzhou Golden Arch Food Company, Fuzhou Ocean Hotel and others in the industries of education, construction, design, restaurant, tourism and trade. Over 3100 job positions were offered to graduates. Many freshmen and sophomores came to the fair observing and learning in advance about the employment process and requirements. More than 2800 graduates applied for jobs in the fair and talked with employers. The fair was well organized.
The campus job fair leverages the advantages of teachers’, students’, and alumni’s contacts and resources, makes every attempt to explore channels on retrieving job information, and makes the utmost efforts to ensure 2023 graduates find fuller and higher-quality employment.
