On September 13, Hwa Nan solemnly held the 39th Teacher’s Day celebration and commendation meeting.  The meeting was attended by Council Chair Rongmin Yu, President Jianhong Ren, Vice President Qiuping Zhang, Vice President Leijing Huang and, Deputy Party Secretary Lanjia Wu, all faculty, staff and some student representatives.  Vice President Huang Leijing chaired the meeting.

President Jianhong Ren on behalf of Hwa Nan conveyed respect and greetings to all teachers.  She affirmed the achievement made in the past year and hoped all teachers and staff devote energy to the same goal and stay committed to jointly creating better future of Hwa Nan.

The meeting commended Shaofang Pan, Minyi Zheng, Xiaojing Li and Xiuyun Cheng for their thirty year work anniversary at Hwa Nan, and thirty-six teachers were awarded Outstanding Teacher of 2022-2023 Academic Year.  Council Chair Rongmin Yu, President Jianhong Ren, Vice President Leijing Huang and Deputy Party Secretary Lanjia Wu presented awards to them and thanked them for their commitment and dedication.  Shaofang Pan and Xuran Wang gave acceptance speeches, expressing their passion and love of education. 

This year, forty-four new teachers join the team of Hwa Nan.  After their brief self introduction, Council Chair Rongmin Yu, President Jianhong Ren, Vice President Qiuping Zhang and Deputy Party Secretary Lanjia Wu presented them the school badges. Led by Vice President Qiuping Zhang and administered by Deputy Secretary Lanjia Wu, new teachers and students from Education Department solemnly swore of holding correct career aspirations and developing professional integrity.  

The commendation meeting ended in an beautiful song brought by Culture Education Department students.  After the commendation,  college leaders and awardees posed for photos in front of the mural.
