On the afternoon of November 17, President Ren Jianhong, Vice President Zhang Qiuping, Tourism Service Department Chair Chen Weiwei and Hotel Management Program Dirctor Huang Yunwen visited Fujian Cuisine Museum and attended the enterprise-college cooperation signing ceremony.
President Ren and her accompanies visited Fujian Cuisine Museum and learned about the history, the flavor feature and the cooking techniques of Fujian Cuisine through the introduction of the museum guide. They experienced the museum digitalization and broadened their minds on the development of cultural and tourism industry and its digitalization.
President Ren introduced Hwa Nan to all participants. The 115 year history of Hwa Nan and its rigorous attitude towards education won high acclaim of participants.

Food is the most basic necessity of the people. Each place has its own way of fostering its own residents. Local residents create its own local cuisines. Hwa Nan has always been paying attention to the education of China's fine traditional culture. The cooperation with the museum will promote Fujian Cuisine culture at Hwa Nan. The museum will be used as a classroom to guide students in volunteer service, academic research, cultural product design, and innovation and entrepreneurship incubation for further understanding and spreading of Fujian Cuisine culture. It also has profound impact on promoting teaching reform and integration between industry and education, expanding the depth and width of practical training, and triggering students’ creativity and innovative initiatives.
