On the afternoon of November 1, Hwa Nan held a meeting on Employment Promotion for Graduates of Class 2024 to implement the decisions and plans on stabilizing and ensuring employment of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council.  Party Secretary Li Tingwang, Vice President Huang Leijing, Director of Student Recruitment and Employment Office, Department Branch Party Secretaries, Department Chairs, and student counselors for Class 2024 attended the meeting.

Director Huang Pengkui of Admissions and Career Services Office conveyed the report given by Deputy Director Li Xuan of Fujian Education Department on the subject of promoting the employment of college graduates.  He briefed on the main problems of college graduates’employment in 2023 and the grave employment circumstances in 2024, and asked all departments to follow through on the employment of Class 2023 and make solid efforts to promote employment of Class 2024.  Liu Chaoping from Admissions and Career Services Office reported on the statistics of Class 2023 employment and the problems encountered, offering reference to Class 2024 employment.

Vice President Huang Leijing gave a mobilization speech and introduced the deployment plan for graduates’ employment of Class 2024.  She pointed out graduates’ employment is one key index for education quality of Hwa Nan.  All departments should implement top leadership project, standardize the work for graduates’ employment, broaden employment channels, increase employment guidance, identify employment demands, enhance career services, and give support for graduates facing difficulties.  She raised four specific requirements for promoting employment of Class 2024.  The first is to optimize services and keep targeted.  The second is to be innovative and flexible.  The third is to make solid progress and ensure effectiveness.  The fourth is to reinforce guidance and improve competency. 

Party Secretary Li Tingwang affirmed the achievement made in the employment of Class 2023.  He stressed all offices and departments fully recognize the importance of graduates’employment, seek unity in thinking, establish employment oriented work philosophy, see graduates’ employment as the ultimate goal of talent training, pool the wisdom and efforts together, and get everybody involved to promote high-quality and full employment of Class 2024.
