On January 17, President Chen Hui Ci of Tung Wah College of Hong Kong and General Manager Ruan Dewei of Min Gang Education Center accompanied by Fuzhou New Area Administrative Committee Member Cheng Xiaoma paid a visit to Hwa Nan.  Hwa Nan Council Chair Yu Rongmin, President Ren Jianhong, Vice President Zhang Qiuping, Vice President Huang Leijing and department directors met with the guests.

The visitors came to the college history gallery to learn about the history, education features, and teaching achievements of Hwa Nan.  They highly commended the long education history and outstanding program development of Hwa Nan.  

At the meeting held later, Tung Wah College of Hong Kong introduced to Hwa Nan its academic programs, faculty and talent cultivation and had in-depth discussion with Hwa Nan on program cooperation.  An cooperative agreement between Fujian Hwa Nan Women’s College and Tung Wah College of Hong Kong was signed.  Close cooperation will be undertaken in program development, research, and resource sharing, so as to promote teaching and education quality of both schools and to offer more opportunities for students’ development.
