On the afternoon of March 6, Hwa Nan held a graduate employment promotion meeting for 2023-2024 academic year to promote high-quality full employment. Party Secretary Li Tingwang, Vice President Huang Leijing, Director of Admissions and Career Services Office, Director of Student Affairs Office, Department Branch Party Secretaries, Department Chairs, Program Directors, and student counselors for Class 2024 attended the meeting. Liu Chaoping from Office of Student Admissions and Career Services moderated the meeting.
Party Secretary Li Tingwang emphasized the urgency and importance of the employment of graduates. He asked all offices and departments to fulfill the duties and mobilize teachers to fully participate and consolidate efforts in supporting the employment. He mentioned students shall be guided to build a correct view of employment. Employment education and services shall be strengthened by visiting enterprises, analyzing the employment situation and statistics, and distributing precise job information. Rooted in its governing principle of putting students first, services shall be provided with care and love throughout the whole process and in all areas to promote employment.
Director Huang Pengkui of Admissions and Career Services Office gave interpretations of the newly regulated documents on the evaluation methods of graduates’ employment and briefed on employment promotion work undertaken in the last semester. Liu Chaoping from Office of Admissions and Career Services introduced the manuals of graduate employment promotion. He stressed the efficiency and normative settings of employment documents to be collected from students. Departments gave reports on the progress and measures taken in the employment promotion.
Vice President Huang Leijing conveyed spirit of documents issued by authorities on employment supervision and promotion. She emphasized all departments achieve unity in thinking, take quick actions, seize spring recruitment opportunities, and take measures in accordance with actual conditions to bolster high quality employment.
