The Sixth Teachers’ Congress and the Second Plenary Session of the 7th Trade Unions' Congress of Fujian Hwa Nan Women's College was successfully convened on March 20, 2024.  The meeting was attended by 117 official delegates and 8 non-voting delegates.  The meeting was presided over by Zhang Qiuping, Executive Chairman of the Congress, President of the Trade Union and Vice President of Hwa Nan.

The meeting reviewed and approved the Work Report of the College, the Work Report of the Trade Union, the Financial Report of the College, the Work Report of the Fund Committee of the Trade Union, and the Feedback Report on the proposal of the First Plenary Session of the Sixth Teacher’s Congress and the Seventh Trade Unions’ Congress, and reviewed the Construction Description of Qishan Campus Phase III Project and the Charter Description of the Board of Supervisors of the College.  In addition, the representatives also held group discussions and submitted proposals on issues related to the construction and development of the college and the immediate interests of teachers and students concerned by the faculty.

The meeting of the faculty and staff congress not only enhanced the cohesion of the faculty and staff, but also pointed out the direction for the work of the college in the future.  Hwa Nan will continue to uphold its fine tradition, constantly improve the quality of education and teaching, and contribute to cultivating more outstanding talents.  With the joint efforts of all teachers and students, Hwa Nan will usher in a better tomorrow.
