On the afternoon of May 29, 2024, at the invitation of Centenary University, Council Chair Yu Rongmin, President Ren Jianhong and President of the Alumni Association Yang Shuqin, accompanied by Zhang Li and Huang Weizhi, alumni from Hwa Nan North American Alumni Association, visited Centenary University for starting a new round of cooperation.  The delegation was warmly received by Dr. Dale Caldwell, President of Centenary University, and Ms. Karolina Wolfe, Vice President.

At the meeting, the video on the history and development status of Hwa Nan was shown to the leaders of Centenary University. The progress and the results of the previous cooperation projects between the two universities was displayed, triggering resonance in the leaders of Centenary University.  The two sides discussed and reached a preliminary agreement on restarting Hwa Nan and Centenary 3+1 degree programs, the exchange and teaching programs for Centenary University graduates, the mutual visits of teachers and the cooperation in teaching and research, and Hwa Nan teachers’studying for Doctorate degrees in Century University.  The two sides exchanged gifts and Hwa Nan delegation visited the campus of Centenary University.

President Caldwell and Vice President Wolfe plan to visit Hwa Nan in September and sign a cooperation agreement with Hwa Nan.  Both schools are full of confidence in the new round of cooperation and look forward to achieving more fruitful results in education and research through joint efforts.
