Hwa Nan Delegation Visited Florida State University


On the morning of June 3, the delegation of Hwa Nan arrived at the third stop in Florida, visiting Westminster Oaks Retirement Community and Florida State University.  Under the guidance of Professor Xie Ji Yunhua, the delegation visited the retirement community and recalled the story of Dr. David, the liaison of the cooperation project between Hwa Nan and Florida State University, and her life in the retirement community.  The head of the relevant departments of the Retirement Community led the delegation to visit the elderly care facilities and explained the relevant management rules in detail.

On the morning of June 4, the delegation visited the College of Education, Health and Humanities of Florida State University and was warmly received by Dean Dr. Andrew and two associate deans of the College.  Council Chai Yu Rongmin briefly introduced the history of Hwa Nan, the two schools’ cooperative projects and achievements made in Hwa Nan teachers' degree enhancement in the hope of opening a new round of exchanges and cooperation.  She presented a gift of Fuzhou soft wood painting, a handicraft of Chinese intangible culture.  Dr. Andrew introduced the development and current situation of College of Education, Health and Humanities of Florida State University and looked forward to new cooperation opportunities in the future.

After the meeting, the delegation visited the campus and took a group photo.
