To improve young teachers’ teaching and promote teaching exchange and innovation, on the afternoon of June 12, Hwa Nan held the sixth Young Teachers' Fragment Teaching Competition. Party Secretary Li Tingwang, Vice president Huang Leijing, Deputy Secretary Wu Lanjia and all the teachers watched the competition.

The competition included two projects of 5-minute lecture and 10-minute non-student simulation teaching.  The seven participating teachers showed their skills, fully demonstrating young teachers’ professional competency and teaching charm.  The competition was tense and orderly, full of impressive moments and constantly applauded by the audience.  After the competition, the judge, Associate Professor Wang Xuran, shared her experience attained from the Teaching Ability Competition of Fujian Vocational College Skills Competition, and made comments on the competition.  She spoke highly of the performance of the participating teachers, and pointed out the problems that should be paid attention to and the direction of improvement.

After fierce competition, Su Menglin from the Department of Tourism Service won the first prize for her excellent teaching performance.  Zhang Lingjuan from the School of Marxism and Li Shuzhen from the Department of Health Service won the second prizes.  Lin Jing from the Department of International Business Management and Hua Chuanbin from the Department of Culture and Education won the third prizes.  This competition not only provides a platform for young teachers to show, to exchange and to learn, but also helps to improve the teaching quality.
