On the afternoon of August 13, President Ren Jianhong and Alumni Association President Yang Shuqin visited Fujian Business Association Office in Fujian.  They were warmly received by Mr. Zhuang Shuhao, Executive Vice President and Director of the Office.

Mr. Zhuang Shuhao first gave an overview of American Fujian Business Association Office in Fujian.  He pointed out that since its establishment, the office has been adhering to the mission of mutual assistance and giving back to society, committed to poverty alleviation projects, actively engaged in various charitable activities, and sent warmth and hope to poor families.  Zhuang Shuhao himself also uses his own resources and influence to support poor students and provide material assistance to poor areas.  His charitable activities are spread all over the country, and his deeds have been commended by local governments and widely reported.

President Ren Jianhong introduced the nature and basic situation of the school to Mr. Zhuang Shuhao, and shared her experience of visiting American Fujian Business Association in New York, meeting President Yu Guangwu and people from Fuzhou in the United States in June.  She said the deep love and selfless dedication of overseas Chinese to their hometown is touching, and although the Association is miles away from the Fujian Office, the spirit of caring for their hometown and being enthusiastic about charity and public welfare is the same.

The two sides also had in-depth discussions on issues such as school-enterprise cooperation, internship and employment, and sponsorship to students.  This visit has enhanced mutual understanding and trust between the two sides and laid a solid foundation for future cooperation.  Hwa Nan will base on the characteristics of open school-running, join hands with people of insight at home and abroad, and make greater contributions to training more outstanding talents and serving the development of local economy and society.
