On September 10th, Hwa Nan held the 40th Teachers' Day commendation meeting in the auditorium respecting teachers and valuing education. President Ren Jianhong, Party Secretary Li Tingwang, Vice President Zhang Qiuping, Vice President Huang Leijing, Deputy Party Secretary Wu Lanjia attended the meeting. All the faculty members and some student representatives attended the meeting. The meeting was moderated by Vice President Huang Leijing.
President Ren Jianhong extended holiday greetings to the teachers. In her speech, she expounded the spirit of educators and encouraged teachers to constantly push themselves and improve their education.
The meeting recognized Liu Lili, Lin Xiao, Wu Lanjia and Lin Xiaohong for 30 Years working at Hwa Nan, thanked Gordon and Sonia for warming up Hwa Nan with love for twenty years, honored the seventh All-round Education Models Jiang Limei, Huang Yalu, Liu Yapei, Zhang Min, Cheng Ruxiu, Xu Biyu, the most beautiful teacher Liu Yapei and thirty-eight “Outstanding Workers” for the 2023-2024 school year. Five leaders presented awards to them respectively, thanking them for their contributions to the development of Hwa Nan in their respective jobs. Four teachers, Lin Xiao, Gordon, Liu Yapei and Yang Shuqin, gave speeches on the stage respectively, telling their stories about their work in Hwa Nan, sharing their valuable experience and educational wisdom, and expressing their love and gratitude to the school.
In the new school year, thirty-five energetic young teachers joined the Hwa Nan family. They introduced themselves on the stage in groups. President Ren Jianhong, Vice President Zhang Qiuping and Deputy Party Secretary Wu Lanjia awarded them the school badge. Led by Vice President Zhang Qiuping and administered by Deputy Secretary Wu Lanjia, new teachers and students from Culture and Education Department solemnly swore of holding correct career aspirations and developing professional integrity.
The students from the Department of Culture and Education sang a chorus on the Field of Hope of longing for a better future, which drew a powerful end to the commendation meeting.
