September 2 is the first day of the autumn semester of 2024.  The inspection team composed of Vice President Zhang Qiuping, Dean of the Academic Affairs Pan Shaofang, heads of all departments and the school supervision team carried out the teaching inspection of the new semester.

The inspection group toured and listened to lectures in each teaching building to check teaching on the first day of class.  Judging from the overall situation, teachers and students were in good spirits.  Classroom atmosphere was active.  Teaching order was good, and the teaching equipment was in normal operation. 

All departments conscientiously implement the teaching arrangements and carry out the first lesson activities.  They centered around the study and implementation of the spirit of the third plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and the spirit of the sixth plenary session of the 11th CPC Provincial Party Committee, educated and guided students to be clear about the direction of the new era, establish lofty ideals, and have the courage to assume the mission and responsibility entrusted by the times.  With the keywords of hard work and breakthrough, they encouraged students to learn from the Olympic athletes, bring the spirit of hard work and pursuit of excellence into the study, study diligently, grow skills, temper comprehensive quality, and start a new semester with full enthusiasm and firm belief.

Hwa Nan has always attached great importance to teaching, and the teaching inspection on the first day of school is the routine work and a key point of the school's teaching quality control and guarantee. The first lesson is a compulsory course in the beginning of the semester, which is an important opportunity for ideological and political education, and also an important link to carry out the education of school ethos and academic discipline.  Hwa Nan will continue to focus on the fundamental task of moral cultivation, deepen education and teaching reform and innovation, improve the teaching quality supervision system, and promote the quality of talent training to a new level.
