In order to fully implement the important deployment of the Party Central Committee and the State Council on vocational education, and further promote the vocational education concept of promoting teaching by competition, promoting learning by competition, promoting reform by competition, and promoting research by competition, Hwa Nan held the 7th Fragment teaching Competition and the 1st Teaching Ability Competition on the afternoon of December 26.  President Ren Jianhong, Vice President Zhang Qiuping and Deputy Secretary Wu Lanjia and all teachers attended and observed the competition.

Taking reference from the competition standard of teachers' teaching ability competition, the competition involved six participating teams to compete on the same stage.  According to the competition rules, one teacher of each team first elaborates the teaching implementation report, and then two teachers demonstrate the classroom teaching according to the teaching plan randomly selected on the spot.  Finally, all team members participate in the Q&A.  The competition was tense and orderly, fully demonstrating the solid professional quality of teachers and highlighting their unique teaching charm and innovative teaching style.

After the competition, Director of the Academic Affairs Office Pan Shaofang commented on the competition.  She spoke highly of the outstanding performance of the participating teachers, pointed out the areas that need attention and improvement, and offered valuable suggestions for teachers.  She hoped that all teachers would carefully write every lesson plan and prepare every lesson according to the comprehensive and systematic evaluation system of the teaching ability competition.

After fierce competition, the team of Huang Minyu, Liu Xiaoqin and Lin Li from the Department of Big Data Application won the first prize.  The team of Chen Xinran, Zhu Shuqin, Chen Yuan and Li Miao from the Department of Culture and Education and Wang Lingli, Yang Huiting, Zhuang Shujie and Song Ge from the Department of Art and Design won the second prizes.  The team of Wu Yuyuan, Ge Huijing, Zhu Qing and Lin Xiaohong from the Department of International Business Management, the team of Chen Yu, Zhou Lizhen and Ai Yuzhen from the Department of Health Service, and the team of Wang Serin, Yu Shulei, Xiao Yao and Li Erming from the School of Marxism won the third prizes.

This competition not only provides a platform for teachers to show, exchange and learn, but also further improves teachers' ethics, professional teaching ability, digital literacy level, comprehensive education ability and self-development ability, laying a solid foundation for promoting the overall improvement of education and teaching quality.
