As the Spring Festival is approaching, Hwa Nan leadership team led by Council Chair Yu Rongmin went to the Bailing Nursing Home to visit the highly respected teachers Ma Xiufa and Wu Meiyu, sending them New Year greetings and wishes, and bringing them the feeling of the warmth from the school family in winter.

Teacher Ma Xiufa is 106 years old.  She recalled her teaching career in the past.  Her eyes are shining with light, full of love and affection for education.  Ma extended holiday greetings to the teachers and students of Hwa Nan, and extended her expectations and encouragement.  The 96-year-old teacher Wu Meiyu talked with the leaders cordially, and expressed sincere gratitude for the care.

Leaders carefully inquired about the physical condition and daily life of the two teachers, sent them carefully prepared gifts, and sincerely wished them health, longevity, and happiness.  Chairman Yu Rongmin said that the old teachers are the witnesses and contributors of the development of Hwa Nan, and the school's achievements today cannot be separated from their hard work.  Hwa Nan will always remember their dedication, stick to the original aspiration of education, strive to promote the school's various undertakings to a new level, and live up to the expectations and trusts of the old teachers.

This visit activity not only conveys the school's deep care for retired teachers, but also carries forward the fine tradition of respecting teachers and education, encouraging all teachers and students to strive for the development of Hwa Nan with full enthusiasm in the New Year.
