Recently, Student Cai Lele's work Awakening Lion won the second prize in the Maradin Cup children's clothing creative design competition of the first national college students' clothing creative design competition.  The competition is hosted by the China Textile and Garment Education Society, and Zhejiang Textile Engineering Societ.  Cai Lele is from Clothing Design Major 2024 of Art Design Department.

The competition attracted more than 1,800 students from 146 art colleges and universities at home and abroad, and the effective number of entries was 904.  The competition was extremely fierce.  After the evaluation of expert judges, 60 groups of contestants were shortlisted for the national finals.  The final competition adopts the form of static display and on-site defense of the contestants.  The jury group is composed of professors and corporate design directors from School of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University, China Academy of Art, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and Hubei Academy of Fine Arts.

CAI Lele's work Awakening Lion, with its unique theme, clever design language, exquisite production skills and deep insight into the market demand for children's wear, stood out among many entries and won high praise from the judges.  This achievement is a strong proof of the teaching achievements of the Clothing and Design Major.
