The Sixth Teachers’ Congress and the Third Plenary Session of the 7th Trade Unions' Congress

The Sixth Teachers’ Congress and the Third Plenary Session of the 7th Trade Unions' Congress of Fujian Hwa Nan Women's College was successfully convened on January 17, 2025.  The meeting was attended by 109 official delegates and 5 non-voting delegates.  The meeting was presided over by Zhang Qiuping, Executive Chairman of the Congress, President of the Trade Union and Vice President of Hwa Nan.

The meeting reviewed the Work Report of the College delivered by President Ren Jianhong, which comprehensively summarized the previous year's achievements, objectively analyzed current challenges, and outlined key priorities for future development.The report emphasized that 2024 marks a crucial year for implementing the college's 14th Five-Year Plan, as well as a year of reform, innovation, and quality-oriented development.  The college has fully implemented the fundamental mission of moral education, enhanced the Reflect Deeply, Act Resolutely ideological and political education framework, and consistently improved talent cultivation quality. Steady progress has been achieved across all initiatives, establishing a solid foundation for high-quality development.

Additionally, Vice President and President of Trade Union Zhang Qiuping presented the the Work Report of the Trade Union, Director of Finance Li Xiaojing delivered the Financial Report of the College, and Union Committee Member and Proposal Team Leader Tian Zhongyu submitted the Proposal Feedback Report for the Second Plenary Session of the Sixth Teachers’ Congress and the Seventh Trade Unions’ Congress.  

The meeting reviewed and approved all the aforementioned reports. During the group discussion session, the representatives engaged in a lively and in-depth discussion on the Implementation Measures for Professional Title Evaluation and Appointment at Fujian Hwa Nan Women’s Voc-Tech College ,offering many valuable opinions and suggestions. The representatives expressed their hope that the college will further refine the evaluation and appointment mechanism to motivate faculty and staff, enhance their enthusiasm and creativity, and achieve new breakthroughs in the development of the teaching faculty.


The successful convening of this meeting has not only strengthened the sense of participation and ownership among faculty and staff, but also injected new vitality into the institution's development. The college will continue to uphold the principles of democratic governance and scientific decision-making, uniting and leading all faculty and staff to strive for the goal of high-quality development.
