On the afternoon of October 15, Hwa Nan held a series of celebration activities to mark its 117th founding anniversary and the 40th anniversary of its reestablishment. The event was attended by all school leaders, department-level Cadres and above, as well as faculty and student representatives. The activity was presided over by Wu Lanjia, a member of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, and Vice President.
The Exhibition of President Yu Baosheng's Work Traces was displayed in the lobby on the second floor of the Comprehensive Building. President Ren Jianhong delivered a heartfelt speech, and all school leaders unveiled the exhibition. Through a rich collection of historical photos, manuscripts, and artifacts, the exhibition systematically showcased President Yu Baosheng’s educational philosophy and practical contributions during her tenure, allowing faculty and students to deeply appreciate the noble character and dedication of the older generation of educators.

Subsequently, the digital human of the school history museum was officially launched, with President Ren Jianhong and a representative of Fujian Xiniu Zhihui Technology Co., Ltd. unveiling it together. Utilizing advanced artificial intelligence technology, the digital human is capable of providing guided explanations and answering questions intelligently, marking a new step in the digitalization of the school’s historical archives.

That same afternoon, the unveiling ceremonies were also held for the Qingxing Hall, donated by Mr. Chen Chunhui, a friend of the school, and the virtual simulation training room, donated by foreign teacher Dr. Marian Lee Davis. The establishment of these two facilities embodies the profound affection and high expectations of benevolent individuals toward the university’s educational development.


A symposium on the spirit of President Xi Jinping’s inscription, Women are not inferior to men, Hwa Nan women of distinction appear one after another.”was held by the Women’s Research Center. Attendees, including faculty and student representatives, shared their insights based on their work and study experiences, expressing their determination to translate the spirit of the inscription into concrete actions to drive the school’s development and contribute to the realization of the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation.

The successful hosting of this series of activities has further strengthened the cohesion and solidarity of the school’s faculty and students. Hwa Nan will continue to uphold its fine traditions, forge ahead with determination, and strive unremittingly to build a high-level institution.
