To celebrate the 117th anniversary of its founding and the 40th anniversary of its reestablishment , Hwa Nan held an anniversary celebration  assembly in the auditorium on October 18. Distinguished guests, alumni from home and abroad, all faculty and staff, and student representatives gathered to celebrate the occasion.The ceremony was presided over by Wu Lanjia,a member of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, and Vice President.

 Before the official start of the  assembly, the newly composed Alma Mater Song was released, its melodious tune evoking shared memories among all alumni present. 

The assembly commenced in a solemn atmosphere as all attendees stood and sang the national anthem. Subsequently, in her address, President Ren Jianhong reviewed the struggles and achievements in the school’s history and outlined a blueprint for its future development. Her words conveyed sincere gratitude and earnest expectations for all faculty and staff.

The award ceremony was a highlight of the event. The Special Contribution Award for the 40th Anniversary of Reestablishment and the Third Outstanding Alumni Award were presented successively. Ms. Yu Ping, Mr. Lin Benchun, and Professor Cheng Gaodeng delivered speeches, inspiring everyone in attendance.

 Following this, the assembly held the launch ceremony for the Alumni Enterprise Association, establishing a platform for communication, exchange, and resource sharing between alumni and the alma mater. Finally, the original musical stage play Unwavering Melodies Reflect Splendor was brilliantly released, vividly portraying the school’s historical evolution and cultural heritage through performance art, bringing the celebration assembly to a perfect close.

The school will take this anniversary as an opportunity to continue upholding its fine traditions, constantly innovate and develop, strive to enhance its educational standards and quality, and cultivate more outstanding talents for society.
