Hwa Nan Held 2025 Experience Exchange Conference on Teachers' Teaching Capacity Improvement

To further advance education and teaching reform, and comprehensively enhance teachers' comprehensive literacy and teaching capacity, the 2025 Experience Exchange Conference on Teachers' Teaching Capacity Improvement was successfully held recently at the Yu Baosheng Academic Lecture Hall.This conference specially invited five outstanding teacher teams that achieved excellent results in this year's provincial-level teaching capacity competition. Centering on topics such as competition experience, teaching reflection and prospects for future education, these teams delivered in-depth sharing and exchanges with the participating teachers.

The conference was hosted by Pan Shaofang, Director of the Academic Affairs Office, and teacher representatives from the five participating teams took the stage to share their insights in turn.Teacher Yu Lei from the Department of Culture and Education delivered a presentation themed Promoting Teaching and Capability Through Competitions, sharing the practical experience of the Early Childhood Education major in curriculum selection, resource integration and team collaboration.Teacher Huang Minyu from the Department of Big Data Applications gave a talk entitled Breaking the Impasse with Marketing Thinking and Refining Professional Competence with Learning Capacity, emphasizing that instructional design should incorporate user-oriented thinking and product awareness to make teaching outcomes visible and scalable.Teacher Yu Xiudi, also from the Department of Big Data Applications, presented on the topic Loosening the Soil for Traditional Experience and Allowing New Thinking to Sprout, recounting her two consecutive years of participation in the competition, as well as her experience in curriculum restructuring, and highlighting the importance of focusing on one’s field and engaging in continuous in-depth development.Teacher Zhuang Shujie from the Department of Art and Design and Teacher Li Miao from the Department of Culture and Education jointly delivered a speech themed Promoting Educational Reform Through Competitions and Ushering in a New Classroom Revolution. They analyzed the policies of the Teaching Capacity Competition and shared practical insights into cross-disciplinary participation, AI technology integration, and classroom video recording.Teacher Tian Zhongyu from the Department of Basic Education shared his growth story titled From a Bystander to a Key Participant, vividly illustrating the significance of team synergy, personal potential, perseverance, and student cooperation in the competition.

 

In her concluding speech, Vice President Huang Leijing fully acknowledged the diligent efforts made by all participating teams during their preparation as well as the excellent results they achieved in the competition. She encouraged all faculty members to take these teams as role models and actively learn from their advanced experience.She pointed out that the valuable experience shared by the six teachers from diverse perspectives not only demonstrated the personal and team growth in enhancing teaching capabilities, but also concentratedly reflected the school’s in-depth exploration and innovative achievements in such teaching practice areas as school-enterprise cooperation, integration of production and education, and digital empowerment.She emphasized that the school has always provided solid support for teachers participating in competitions through initiatives such as systematic training and one-on-one guidance. Going forward, it will unswervingly uphold the philosophy of promoting teaching through competitions, promoting learning through competitions, promoting reform through competitions, and promoting development through competitions, continuously deepen teaching innovation and the integration of production and education, comprehensively improve the level of faculty development and the quality of talent cultivation, and make greater contributions to advancing the high-quality development of vocational education.
