On October 31, Mr. Gordon Trimble and his wife, Mrs. Sonia Trimble, traveled to Putian No. 2 High School for a journey of tracing their roots, following the historical footsteps of his great-uncle, Mr. Fred Trimble, who taught in Fujian. They were accompanied throughout the trip by the head of school’s Foreign Affairs Office and relevant alumni. Representatives from Putian No. 2 High School, including the Deputy Party Secretary, former Party Secretary, and Director of the School Office, warmly received them and joined the visit. Upon arriving at Putian No. 2 High School, The Trimbles first held a cordial meeting with the school’s representatives. During the discussion, the couple shared their family's profound connection with education in Fujian and engaged in in-depth exchanges regarding the specific teaching experiences and educational endeavors of his great-uncle, Mr. Fred Trimble, during his time at the school. They gained a detailed understanding of their predecessor’s work and contributions.
