To celebrate the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and to deepen the patriotic sentiment of all faculty and students, Hwa Nan held a National Day flag-raising ceremony at the  playground on the morning of October 1. President Ren Jianhong, Party Committee Secretary Zhang Lin, Deputy Party Committee Secretary Zhang Qiuping, representatives from the Youth League Committee, secretaries of Party General Branches of all departments, secretaries of Youth League General Branches, counselor representatives, and student representatives attended the ceremony to celebrate the nation's birthday and express their patriotic fervor. The total number of participants exceeded 200.

The atmosphere at the ceremony was solemn and dignified. The flag guard marched with upright posture and firm steps, escorting the national flag to the flag-raising platform. As the national anthem played, the bright Five-Starred Red Flag was raised slowly. All attendees stood at attention, saluted, and sang the national anthem in unison, expressing their reverence and best wishes for the great motherland.

This flag-raising ceremony served as an important platform for patriotic education at the college. It was both a vivid ideological and political education open class and a profound spiritual inspiration. Faculty and students expressed that they would transform their patriotic passion into motivation to move forward, fulfilling their duties with dedication in their respective roles, steadfastly marching on the Long March of our generation, and contributing through concrete actions to the realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
